We had a wonderful family lunch here today. It was such a beautiful setting along a little river, lush trees and old buildings (1300’s). We sat on a big table with a trough behind us, where the owners had generously places some small plastic ducks in. This was wonderful for my kids to play with while we had a drink and waited for our food. The food we had was delicious, such fresh quality ingredients, our kids hadn’t enjoyed a restaurant meal so much in ages (that wasn’t pasta meatballs). The Belgian fries were to die for. Kids asked if we could come back every Saturday for lunch. That pretty much sums it up! Oh and if they serve the pavlova, make sure to order it (or two)!

Very nice, kind and friendly staff. They speak english and their homemade food is just delicious! The dessert was a big surprise! Straight to my fav list!

Came across this place by chance since we happened to be in the area for holidays. We had the barbecue for lunch, which was a choice of super-tasty local meats - lamb, pork and beef - with delicious homemade fries and salad. Everything we had was fresh and of great quality and portions are quiet large at a very reasonable price. Another big plus, the owners are warm and friendly, we felt very welcome. If you just want to enjoy a drink, go for one of the local wines on the menu or a beer. You will find a tasty selection at this restaurant. We also liked the atmosphere, it‘s a nice place to just sit and relax. Outside, the restaurant terrace on the side is above a little river. If we are in the region again, we will definitely return.
