- The Pic d'Anie is the highest peak in the Cirque de Lescun .
  The hike that leads there is reserved for experienced hikers. You start from Pierre-Saint-Martin to reach the peak.
  The 14 km course, with steep drops, passes over difficult areas, scree and lapiaz. The panorama on the organs and the peaks is exceptional.
  From the Pic d'Anie, you will also have a breathtaking view of the Sanchèse plateau and the Pierre-Saint-Martin massif .

Spectacular mountain ⛰ that years ago was muga with Navarra and later there was a change in the dividing line of the border that makes this peak belong to the French Bearn today. It is more impressive from below due to its pyramidal shape than from the top, but the views from the top are priceless with the entire Pyrenean mountain range seen from west to east. The natural ascent is from the parking lot of the stone of San Martín and the approximately 6 and a half kilometers and many others back are very uncomfortable and even heavy due to the large amount of stone (karts) and chasms that you have to go around and with many doubts about whether to go one place or another because the terrain is not excessively marked, mainly because it is very similar all over. In any case, a luxury to have been in the first 2500 that comes from the Atlantic.

Magnificent hike in the Aspe valley passing through the forest of the Cap de la Baitch hut (water point and sale of cheese possible in summer) along the cliffs then the Anie pass carried out in mid-June 2022. Departure after a bivouac near the abérouat refuge at 8:00 a.m. for an arrival at the summit of the Pic d'Anie around 12:00 p.m. Carefully follow the GR 10 route at the beginning, then only the most important cairns. Avoid if rainy weather or foggy because the risk of slipping / falling can be very high and of course a minimum of liters of water... Many viewpoints, a lunar landscape and beauty to discover!
