The Fromagerie Crèmerie d'Ossau offers a delicious range of more than 150 cheese references, from all over the world, but also very local. Amandine and Claude work with producers in the region, who provide cheeses made from cow's milk, sheep's goat and sometimes buffalo too! On the shelves, you will find classics from here and elsewhere, fresh cheeses, matured cheeses, small, very large, confidential and singular cheeses… It is the cave of discoveries for connoisseurs.
The aging room of the Fromagerie Crèmerie d'Ossau is clad with raw, untreated spruce boards, which allow the cheeses to mature slowly and tasty. We control their smell, their taste but also their texture : Blue cheese, washed rind, flowery, cooked or pressed, fresh cheeses...
