Zoo d'Asson

Originally, in 1950, the genesis of the Asson Zoo was a garden, created by plant enthusiasts: cacti, palm trees, bamboo, tropical and exotic plants. A universe, completed in the 60s by a small animal park, which has since been in full expansion until it became the main vocation of the park.

Exotic animals, tropical or of island origin from the 4 corners of the globe, evolve in 6 distinct spaces, which give pride of place to the exuberance of plants. 170 species of plants are listed in the park and a botanical inventory even allows you to identify them, for the pleasure of seeing, smelling and touching them! In greenhouses, the humidity and temperature adjusted for the well-being of the animals, allows the plants to flourish. It's a real jungle! They are all chosen with care, according to the benefits, shade or refuge they can provide to the animals.

Come and visit the Asson Zoo, as much for its flora as its fauna, it is a wonderful family walk in summer and winter (the park is open all year round). Special activities take place to make the visit more intense for unconditional animal lovers and the curious.
