In the Barétous Valley, the Issarbe area is a Nordic area renowned for its exceptional panorama of the Pic d'Anie massif. There are trails marked out in the forest and on the ridges, a natural and still relatively unknown site, ideal for getting away from the crowds!
This resort is dedicated to cross-country skiing, but also snowshoeing and sledding. Perfect for family holidays, you will love its fantastic landscapes covered in snow, where you can see animal tracks, hear birds and the wind in the fir trees. The opening of the area is subject to snow conditions, generally during school holidays and weekends outside of holidays.
The reception chalet, where you can find out more and get directions on site, is located on the road arriving from Lanne en Barétous. The restaurant bar "Le Grand Tétras" is open and welcomes you for a gourmet break. It also offers a ticket service on site. In addition, accommodation is available with a 10-bed dormitory and a family room (5 beds), particularly suitable for people with reduced mobility.
