Au País, a lively family restaurant all year round 15 minutes from Pau
Since 2021, Amandine is proud to have taken over her parents' establishment, a renowned family heritage in the region. With emotion and passion , she reinvents the place to make it a bar-tea room with touches of modernity, while preserving the tiling of yesteryear, the solid oak bar and the wrought iron tables.
In the heart of the historic town of Morlaàs, 15 minutes from Pau and 40 minutes from Tarbes, she cooks fresh, local produce with simplicity and delicacy. At lunchtime, discover a well-crafted snack with a choice of two starters, a dish or the savory pie of the moment and homemade desserts, while the evening is reserved for platters of charcuterie and tapas to share.
Open all year round, Au País is conviviality in its purest form with themed evenings, evenings of Béarn songs and Irish evenings, happily organized by Amandine who loves to receive. It's always a good idea to get together when it's fun.
