Rent a campervan for a holiday in the Pyrenees or at the ocean

The Pyrénées-Atlantiques (64) is the ideal department for a campervan trip. On one side, the mountains, hiking trails, breathtaking landscapes, mountain lakes, and pastures dotted with sheep… on the other, the ocean with its endless blue, stunning sunsets, and warm sand… Whether in Béarn, the Basque Country, or even for a trip to nearby Spain, you're perfectly situated to explore and quickly reach idyllic spots. You come across all sorts of wild animals in the Pyrenees, which one will be there when you wake up?

People often wonder how to organize this kind of trip. Simply come by car, Arnaud will keep your vehicle safe and secure in his depot, and you can set off in the rented campervan. Another option: we can pick you up at the nearest train station or airport. This needs to be arranged in advance, but it's possible! So, no transportation hassles, and it's ideal for a week in the region, even if you're coming from far away or don't have a car.

The Volkswagen vans for rent are classic vehicles, and since you're on vacation, there's no question of putting the pedal to the metal! Leave the highway behind, take the back roads and country lanes, and take the time to appreciate the scenery at a maximum of 100 km/h! You have 800 km of all -inclusive range, including roadside assistance and insurance, enough to see the countryside without feeling cramped. The vans can accommodate 4 people (2 in the upper bunk and 2 in the living area), and you can even add a hammock for a child under 4 or 5 years old! Obviously, there's no shower (is this what adventure is all about?), so what to do? Either it's summer and you can take advantage of the onboard solar shower, or you can stop at municipal campsites to wash up. However, there's everything you need to cook on board : a small kitchen with one or two gas burners, a sink with a water tank, and utensils and cutlery for four people. Ready for an aperitif? Put some local craft beers in your van's refrigerator. Enjoy the view of your choice, in complete independence and tranquility.
