- For those who want to discover life on a farm , but also the Basque Country through the diversity of agriculture and farm products, we offer a selection of accommodation located on a farm.
  Among these owners, some are members of the Bienvenue à la Ferme 64 network, the aim of which is to introduce people to their profession and promote their production.
  These farm accommodations, gîtes and guest rooms, offer holidays closer to nature where young and old alike participate: discovery of the farm, caring for animals, picking fruit and vegetables, tasting homemade products (jams, cheese...).

It is always interesting to note that the rigidity of Gîtes de France persists over the years and despite changes in behavior and frames of reference. Thus, for a cancellation several months before the reserved rental, by making a commercial gesture (sic), the reimbursement only amounts to 66% of the amount, or 100 euros out of 147. Why: 22 euros of insurance and 25 euros of administration fees! Not to mention the various standards as I experienced them in 2023 in a gîte in the Landes where my grandchildren made too much noise (in the middle of the Landes forest at the Gîte du Gat with a cantankerous owner who watched us like a hawk). However, for those who doubt, my grandchildren arouse the admiration of the owners of the Airbnb platform that I recommend for people living in the 21st century. This time, I won't be caught out again. Never again Gîtes de France.
