La Vallée d'Ossau et Réserve Naturelle d'Ossau Nature Reserves in Castet

The Ossau Valley is one of the three great valleys of Béarn. It stretches from Col du Pourtalet in the town of Laruns, on the Spanish border, to Arudy, on the outskirts of Pau.
The meadows and mountain lawns are crossed by the Gaves d'Ossau, Brousset and many streams.
The Ossau Valley is also very famous for Canyoning.

This large valley is therefore a land of pasture and the pastoral tradition is strong there. You will visit charming Pyrenean villages and shepherds'huts.
