Ossau de l'eau is a specialist and professional canyoning organization in the Ossau Valley in Laruns in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Xavier Giraudet, a state-certified canyoning instructor, will take you to discover the most beautiful canyoning descents in the Ossau Valley at the foot of the Béarnaise Pyrenees. But not only that! He also organizes canyoning weekends and stays in Spain, in the Sierra de Guara (Huesca – Alquézar – Rodellar), but also in Ordesa in Mont-Perdu (Torla – Broto – Ainsa). High spots for canyoning in Europe!
The Ossau Valley offers a wide variety of canyons, with around 17, some of which are among the most beautiful in the Pyrenees. Not to mention the canyons located on the other side of the Spanish border in the Tena Valley, which are easily accessible.
Canyoning is an outdoor sport that takes place in mountain streams. It allows you to discover completely wild and unexpected places while having fun. Abseiling down waterfalls, swimming in turquoise water, jumping (optional) into crystal-clear pools, and sliding down natural slides are all part of canyoning and much more.
With your children (from 10 years old), young and old, or with friends, go on an immersion trip for a half-day or a full day of canyoning!
To ensure that the descent is a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone, the vigilance and attention of your canyoning instructor will reassure even the most fearful. Xavier will take care to adapt the obstacles and will share his passion and good humor with you, with fun and conviviality as the common thread. You will most often be in a small group, and departure times will be adapted so that you can be alone and peaceful in the canyons. He will suggest the less frequented routes whenever possible.
For optimal thermal comfort, you will be equipped with 2-piece neoprene wetsuits, neoprene booties, and gloves (depending on the season). To protect your head, a helmet will be provided, and for rope obstacles, a harness will be required.
Fill up on emotions and memories!
