  Ordered beret on November 6th and received on the 8th! This beret is very high quality and feels very sturdy. Buy it without hesitation! EDIT: Review 1 year after my purchase, still perfect! Sturdy and high quality! I highly recommend it! 👍

  I've been wearing berets of varying quality (including the latest one where I sweat because of the synthetic bristles!) for several years now. So, while searching for a truly high-quality, handcrafted beret, I stumbled upon the website of this beret manufacturer. After browsing the website, my only hesitation was which size to choose! (I'm a bit too far from Orthez to go there in person right now, and I'm a tad impatient :-). Used to 9.5/10-inch berets, I stuck with a 10-inch for everyday wear (even though I'm originally from the Landes region ;-)). Wow! I have to say I'm absolutely not disappointed; I'm even blown away! Ordered on November 12th at 6 PM, received in Vienne on November 14th at 11:30 AM. The beret arrived in a lovely kraft paper pouch, along with its instruction manual, all in a reusable envelope. The quality is immediately apparent: thick yet supple wool, not a single pill, and the drawstring securely in place. In short, I quickly adjusted it to my head size (about 10 seconds) and put it on, shaping the brim, of course. The result? It's absolutely gorgeous and fits me perfectly! Not only am I not disappointed, but I'm already planning to order another one soon for my hikes, this time in an 11-inch size. Unless, of course, I happen to be visiting the factory during a trip to the Southwest :-). So, a huge thank you to Sara and Léa for this high-quality craftsmanship that so beautifully respects our traditions. Looking forward to a visit to your workshop!

  Je voulais un béret comme mon père , mon grand-père ...mais je voulais un VRAI béret, bien Français ! et une fois quelques recherches faites sur le net, j'ai découvert cette Manufacture, j'en ai lu l'histoire qui m'a de suite plu, j'ai donc décidé de m'y rendre pour effectuer cet achat dans ce lieu qui se trouvait qu'à 420 kms de la maison.... On a eu un super accueil et des conseils avisés. La maîtresse des lieu est charmante, a de l'humour, on y a passé un excellent moment en plus de l'achat. Le hasard a fait que l'inscription que je voulais était à une virgule près la devise même de la ville d'Orthez. On recommande avec un immense plaisir .
