  Everything was fine generally but I wish we would have thought to have made a reservation for the restaurant for our evening meal before we arrived. The hotel restaurant was fully booked so we had to go elsewhere but unfortunately everywhere else in Eaux Bonnes was closed down. The tourist information staff were helpful and gave us a map with other restaurants in the area but this involved driving again at night on unknown roadsin the Pyrenees in the dark. We ended up having some sandwiches being made for us in the local shop which was the only one open in the town. They were made from local cheese and ham and were very nice however. We ate them back in our room, not quite the restaurant meal I had been imagining. Our hotel room was clean but really old fashioned and there was no AC but we managed to keep the room cooler by keeping the shutters closed and opening them late in the evening when it was cooler. We had a good breakfast however the next morning in the restaurant. It is a shame that this little town is delapidated and run down as I imagine in its hay day it would have been full of wealthy people using the spas in the area and keeping it alive. This hotel is dog friendly which is one of the reasons we chose it whilst on our travels.

  The staff were very helpful and nice (and spoke good English). The rooms are old but in a cool vintage way

  2 star hotel I think,the rooms where big, comfy bed slept well. ate in the restaurant pizza was good. Continental breakfast with nice croissants. Would stay again
