About

  • English
    • Between Plain and Piedmont, Nay is a large town on the edge of the Gave de Pau, benefiting from a superb market where the country's producers meet, coming down from their mountains on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
Formerly rich in a spinning industry, Nay is today a former Bastide capital of the Basque Beret.
The big festivals of Nay take place every year at the end of August.
You will visit the square house in the central square, a beautiful Italian Renaissance-style mansion, a place of exhibitions and a museum dedicated to the industrial heritage of the region. You can also go to the fortified church of St Vincent not far from there and to the Beret Museum, or to the cowbells factory of the Daban house.
