    • The Maison Carrée, a Renaissance mansion, transports you to a timeless atmosphere. You will wander through corridors and covered galleries from another era, contemplate the harmony of the spaces, discover the history of the region, and be amazed by the temporary exhibitions.

The new tour on the first floor reveals the history of the house from the 18th century to the present day, as well as that of the Bastide de Nay and the Béarn bastides, not forgetting the importance of the textile and furniture industry from the end of the 18th century to today.

In 2025, the Maison Carrée will honor an iconic figure: Jean Barthet. A native of Nay, this milliner enjoyed an exceptional career, dressing some of the biggest celebrities in his creations.
