  The Memorial Museum of the paratroopers is the only depositary museum of the identity of all French airborne troops. It invites you to discover their history, their traditions, their heritage and their news. Open to a large public, the museum traces the history of French paratroopers since their creation, on the eve of the Second World War, to the present day. The airborne troops are presented through a wide historical panorama composed of scenes containing equipped mannequins, weapons and vehicles. Built on the foundations of the main hall of the School of Airborne Troops located north of Pau, it is part of a complex that occupies the Lande du Pont Long, a major site in the history of aeronautics in the 20th century.

  Came as PMP. Complete (very complete) and interesting museum, oriented in history, it traces all the significant events from the beginning of parachuting until today. The many objects, equipment, auto parts, etc. are very well maintained and allow you to visualize the history a little better. The people who hold it are passionate and it shows.
