Robert GRATIEN inherited the culinary know-how from his mother, cook with embassies and from his father, a butcher installed in 1945.

It was in 1979 that Robert created MAISON GRATIEN. Authentic family recipes from Béarn and the Basque Country are made from canned food. The raw materials are selected by privileging quality and proximity and the true regional flavors are thus revealed.

Each recipe is made in the tradition, but with a production tool at the cutting edge of progress guaranteeing the strictest hygiene rules.

Since 2005, the company has been co-managed by two of the children Didier and Christiane in the company of 3 brothers and a sister.

The company now has 13 employees, it offers a wide range of regional preserves but also a choice of boxes composed for great gift ideas for all budgets.

Presented in the Petit futé guide of the best local products since 2008, MAISON GRATIEN also obtained in 2013 in Paris the international quality trophy.
