The Crypte du Bayaà is an astonishing underground room in Salies-de-Béarn.
Originally, it was an open-air draw. The salt water of Salies-de-Béarn has been exploited for more than 3000 years.
In the 19th century, a vault covered this well and the main town square was &placed above.
Today, a light and sound staging highlights this unusual and very old heritage of Salies-de-Béarn.
