L'Amphitryon: guest rooms in a former 18th century presbytery in Oloron Saint-Marie

Gérard and Marie-Pierre welcome you to the Amphitryon, a magnificent 18th century building in Oloron-Sainte-Marie, a former presbytery now transformed into charming guest rooms. It's a place between enchantment and serenity!

Solo, couple or family, you are ideally located for a relaxing stay , exploring Béarn, close to Spain, the Basque Country and the Hautes-Pyrénées. You will be received with kindness and friendliness by this couple who listen to the needs of their guests. The house is quietly located on an old medieval square where it is easy to park. A few minutes' walk away, you can stroll through the city center and enjoy the restaurants and cafes.

5 guest rooms are available. They are spacious, quiet, nicely decorated and with very comfortable bedding. All have a bathroom, wifi and a courtesy tray, a library, a minibar and a TV.

• The Heritage Room (26m2, Queen Size bed) is in exposed stone with an original wooden floor and a fireplace. It is simple , spacious and perfect for a couple or a family because it has an independent living room with a sofa bed. Its character will seduce you.
• The Barétous Room (30m3 Queen size) is bright and elegant , with beautiful woodwork and a period fireplace and magnificent half-timbering in the bathroom. It can also accommodate up to 4 people.
• The Ossau Room (16m2 double bed) is intimate and cozy, soothing with its terrace with stone walls. A connecting door with the Aspe bedroom offers the possibility of a family suite.
• The Aspe Room (14m2 2 single beds) decorated in a refined, modern and cozy way, overlooks Saint-Pierre Square and benefits from all the comfort of large rooms. It can be connected to the Ossau room and is perfect for 2 children or 2 friends on vacation.
• The Cayolar Room under the roof has a lovely view of the mountains . It is air-conditioned and comfortable, with a small living room.

The breakfasts at the Amphitryon, hearty and delicious , are prepared in-house for your greatest pleasure. In the summer, you can sit in the pleasant garden, which will also be a favorite place to read and rest during the day.
