    • Come and discover the charms of the Ossau Valley!

      Nestled under the trees between the Gave d'Ossau and the pretty village of Laruns, Camping des Gaves will welcome you to its cabins with a natural feel.

      • The Shepherd's Cabins, a cozy little nest for 2 people ;
      • Fisherman's huts as close as possible to the stream for 4 people ;
      • Cabins on stilts with a wooden ambiance, terrace and beautiful view for 5 people ;
      • Chalets in a quiet and bucolic park for 6/7 people ;
      • Its mobile homes have 2 or 3 bedrooms.

      You'll marvel at the beauty of our mountains while hiking, exploring the Pyrenees National Park. You'll try your luck fishing for brown trout in the cascading mountain streams, experience the thrill of whitewater rafting or canyoning, and in winter, dare to snowshoe across this vast white expanse. Feel the wind and the grandeur of these landscapes.

      Then in the evening, sitting at a good table, in front of a steaming garbure, before savoring the cheese from our shepherds, with a small smile on your lips, you will feel your heart beat and you will leave with your head full of memories.

    It's a campsite with its own charm, near a river that lulls us to sleep, at the foot of mountains covered and uncovered in April, a beautiful, magnificent setting.

    We had a lovely 3-night stay in a "shepherd's hut," an unusual accommodation in the "Tiny House" style. Very comfortable, with a warm welcome and family atmosphere, and to top it all off, a snack bar that prepared a delicious couscous for us...we will gladly return!

    Great campsite, ideally located next to the river and the pumptrack. Hiking trails and the village are within walking distance. There's a snack bar at the entrance run by Pascal (thanks for the burger and fries and the homemade chicken!). Good value for money. The campsite showers are spotless and the pitches are a good size.

    This is a quiet yet comfortable site. On arrival the registration process is rather tedious with the owners requiring you to know exactly which pitch you want before you register - this requires...

    Camping des Gaves is very quiet to the point where it was somewhat dull for our family, suffering from a lack of a swimming pool and any real attempt at entertainment, Bar closes early along with...
