Gabas Lake Walks, fishing and family playground in Eslourenties-Daban

Between Tarbes and Pau, in the commune of Eslourenties-Daban, Lake Gabas straddles the border between the Hautes-Pyrénées and Pyrénées-Atlantiques departments. In a wooded setting, you can enjoy a pleasant 11 km hike. Easy and relatively flat, it's a perfect family outing. Families are welcome, with picnic areas, a playground, and a viewpoint indicator to help children identify the landscape. During the warmer months, you can enjoy water sports such as sailing and stand-up paddleboarding. Fishing is also permitted under certain conditions. Day parking for your campervan is available next to the lake's visitor center.
