Rich in heritage, the Coteaux Béarn Madiran region is brimming with unmissable gems! Curious visitors, delve into the history of the Château de Morlanne and the Château de Mascaraàs (Mascaraàs-Haron), both listed as Historical Monuments. Discover the Gallo-Roman museum of Claracq with its ancient villa in Lalonquette, the Bayonne Ham Museum in Arzacq, the Museum of Old Tools – Arasclet in Garlin, or the Pottery Museum in Garos. Stroll through our bastides, towns, and authentic villages with their distinctly Béarn character: the bastides of Arzacq, Garlin, and Lembeye; the medieval village of Morlanne; the village of Conchez-de-Béarn; the village of fountains in Moncaup; Morlaàs, the former historical capital of Béarn; and the Béarnese town of Pontacq. Admire the Romanesque church of Saint-Foy in Morlaàs with its magnificent portal. Discover several natural sites, such as the remarkable garden of the Château de Viven, the epicurean garden in Morlanne, the banks of the Arlas in Serres-Castet and the Manas valley in Ger.

For food lovers, you'll be captivated by the charm of our vineyards producing Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, as well as Béarn and Comté Tolosan. The cooperative winery and independent winemakers welcome you to their estates for moments of sharing and conviviality: guided tours of the vineyards and cellars; discovery of their expertise, their passion for wine and the terroir; wine tastings…

Come and meet the producers, who sometimes offer farm tours, or discover the gourmet shops. Savor delicious products: foie gras, pork, chocolates and confectionery, Pastis d'Amélie (a local liqueur), jams, snails, spirulina... Stroll through our markets, unmissable events not to be missed!

Two days of visiting Morlaàs with Christine as a guide for the heritage days, a real treat: a fascinating and passionate guide. To be enjoyed without moderation, like Amélie's Pastis before one of the two visits! Thank you!

A 2-hour tour of Morlaàs. Even though we're from the area, we don't know everything. A warm welcome with a small tasting of Amelie's pastis and sparkling apple juice. A very interesting stroll through the town where I discovered neighborhoods I thought I knew. In addition, a visit to the Church of Saint Andrew, which is normally closed. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the altar is nice. The guide was very kind and you could tell she was truly dedicated to her role. I really enjoyed it.
