  The tourist office is only open on Saturdays during this period. Nevertheless, if you happen to be passing through Eaux-Bonnes, stop for a few moments to soak up the nostalgic atmosphere of this historic place. The deserted nature of the place is remarkable and soothing. I am always fascinated by the old-world charm of this ghost town. The children's play area is very convenient while you're visiting. I highly recommend this place to all those stressed out by the modern world...remarkable!

  The free activities offered by this tourist office in the summer are interesting. It was the same host for cultural visits, sports activities, and nature activities. It was pretty good, but we would perhaps have appreciated having people more experienced in these different subjects.

  We took a short break here to gather information about the Ossau Valley and stretch our legs a bit. Eaux-Bonnes has a charming village center, with some very sophisticated buildings that, however, give the impression of being somewhat derelict. Perhaps it was just the early season that made everything here quite quiet and somewhat lifeless; it would be a real shame to lose these impressive buildings. The Ossau Valley becomes increasingly more interesting and attractive with every bend as the road winds its way up from Eaux toward Gourette.
