Brasserie Clavé – The brewing spirit of Béarn

Nestled in the heart of Monein, between vineyards, mountains and conviviality, Brasserie Clavé embodies an artisanal and passionate approach to beer.
Founded by Baptiste Clavé, a trained oenologist and lover of authentic flavors, the brewery draws inspiration from the richness of the Béarn terroir and the world of wine to create drinks that are both original and accessible.

After five years spent in the wine industry —between Bordeaux, New Zealand, and Madiran—Baptiste returns to his native Béarn to create a project that reflects his personality: curious, generous, and sincere. His goal? To introduce the world of brewing from a different perspective, where quality, creativity, and sharing guide each brew.

Proud of its roots in Monein, Brasserie Clavé works closely with Béarn producers and embraces a local and sustainable approach. Water, grains, and some fruits come from the region, and each brew is designed to showcase the region.

Creative and inspired beers

At Brasserie Clavé, every recipe is an exploration. Baptiste brews craft beers that blend aromatic plants, fruits, spices, and local grains with the precision and curiosity of an oenologist.
We discover light and floral blondes, fruity IPAs, but also more daring creations, like a white beer inspired by Mexico or a blonde blend with Petit Manseng juice, a nod to the Monein vineyard.

All beers are unfiltered and unpasteurized, to preserve their aromas and authenticity. Each sip reflects a simple desire: to offer a beer with character, readable, which tells a story.

Brasserie Clavé beers are available at the brewery, in several local outlets, and served at events in Béarn. The brewery can be visited by appointment or during weekly openings announced on social media.

For the more curious, Baptiste also leads participatory brewing workshops : an immersive experience where everyone learns to create their own beer, from the recipe to bottling. A friendly experience, ideal as a gift or to experience with friends, family, or a team.
