Very nice nature campsite. We were very well received by the owner despite our late arrival and the last day before the annual closing! We will be happy to come back.

A DISASTER!!! We stopped at this campsite as a stopover as we were doing the Camino de Santiago. There was nothing else on our itinerary. We had booked three weeks before our arrival, and on the day of our arrival, we realized that the manager had forgotten about us. I should point out that the summer season was ending, and the campsite was almost empty. The day we arrived, the weather was rainy and quite cold, especially in the evenings, around 10°C or even lower. He had the brilliant idea of making us sleep in a tent. So far, we could say, OK, it's a campsite, but the worst was yet to come. The tent was pitched high; we had to put 10kg hiking bags through a tiny hatch that led into the tent, which, in my opinion, was more suitable for two children. It was very dirty!! Dirt and leaves on the floor, but also in the cots which were even dirtier with animal hair, dirt, hair, and much more, but unfortunately it didn't stop there. The tent was on the edge of a large river and was extremely poorly insulated for this kind of situation: temperature and weather, although he was aware of it, he still made us "sleep" in it. To this day it was the worst night of my life. We couldn't sleep at all because the cold and humidity were simply horrible. We had asked him for blankets that really didn't smell good (a smell of old, stinky socks and almost as dirty as the tent! Without a pillow!! On cots worse than a fakir's plank, the frame gave me bruises that I kept the whole next day. We were very lucky not to have gotten sick (my father, who is almost 70 years old, had to take paracetamol because he felt feverish, it could have been dangerous for him and ruined everything we had planned for weeks as for me I even tried to sleep on a table outside much more comfortable but it was too cold. As for the meal he had nothing left! The croque monsieur was good but not at all suitable for hikers who need to eat balanced, we asked him to make us sandwiches because we did not have the possibility of buying something for the next day being in the middle of the forest he made us greasy and extremely badly made sandwiches, small at 4€ each really not cool, while he had the possibility of doing some shopping. Results we took two days to recover it had a strong impact on us on the future. The only positive point: clean toilets but at the other end of the campsite. The campsite is still pretty, in the summer it must be nice if the mosquitoes do not bother you. Very bad memory I cannot recommend that! It was simply a lack of respect towards the people who come to give him hard-earned money and who make him live nice and warm under his duvet. Good hearer hello.

We only stayed one night due to the weather, but the welcome was perfect, and the location and bathrooms were excellent. Thank you.
