    • Yet later than its neighboring competitor, Les Eaux Chaudes, the spa resort of Eaux Bonnes is today, with its more than 1,300 spa guests, the major spa resort in Béarn.
      Created by Empress Eugénie during the Second Empire on the way up the Col de l'Aubisque, today it is a pleasant, verdant resort with a pretty park in the city centre, very dynamic in summer and winter alike. It must be said that the town got it right by creating the Gourette ski resort in the 1960s, which is today the most important winter sports resort in the Pyrénées Atlantiques.
