    • The new Salmon House

      Discover the amazing journey of the wild salmon of the Adour, its life cycle, local fishing traditions, the old-fashioned smoking of Maison Barthouil .


      We offer guided tours from Tuesday to Saturday morning:

      1 visit in the morning, appointment time 10:30 am and in the afternoon, visit scheduled for 3 pm.

      45-minute guided tour, maximum 15 people, €7 per person including a tasting of our products.
      Children under 12 years old visit free.

    I was fortunate enough to attend the open house at this beautiful establishment today. I was part of a tour group that included several employees' families, and I could feel their pride during the visit. Yes, it's expensive, even very expensive, but it provides a livelihood for 35 employees with beautiful, distinctive products. So, if you can afford it, go for it and support these local businesses that are preserving a unique craft.
