Unique to Aquitaine, the Maison Carrée is a Renaissance residence composed of four levels of galleries. Built on the second half of 16th century, the Maison Carrée was a private mansion, it is still considered a model of classical architecture and nowadays houses a museum of local industry and art exhibitions.
Take a journey through the industrial heritage of the region, from the 18th century to modern times, by visiting the Industry Museum. You'll gain an insight into the lives of the factory workers and learn about the local industries of both textiles and woodworking.
