- The Pierre Laguilhon foie gras museum, a must-visit in Bénéjacq
  Foie gras is the emblematic product of southwestern gastronomy. It is in Bénéjacq, a few minutes from Nay, that the Laguilhon house takes you on a unique culinary journey focused on hospitality, friendliness and the pleasure of eating. Terroir, table of kings, agricultural economy, foie gras, discover the whole history of Béarn through these 4 themes presented in giant jars. Heritage and modernity are at the rendezvous to immerse yourself in culinary traditions and the pleasures of the table. The objective of the museum is to transmit and promote the customs and know-how of this little treasure from the south-west, called foie gras. And to reward your attention, a delicatessen closes the visit and offers various and varied recipes around duck and foie gras. Of course, you won't leave empty-handed!

Products increasingly poor in quality. I had 2 bad experiences with Laguilhon: 2 pots of duck liver terrine turned black after a while even though the expiry date is 09/2024. Recently I was served a fresh foie gras almost at the expiration date. I had to throw it away. As for the service and reception: non-existent. I don't recommend.

Customers for more than 30 years of the house of laguilhon, we stop at least once a year to stock up. A special note for the gift boxes always at the top quality/price ratio. The store is immaculate!
