Our farm is located at the entrance to Laruns, next to Intermarché. We raise a flock of 350 sheep with which we produce sheep's cheese.
Our animals are of the Basque-Béarnaise breed, a rustic breed perfectly adapted to our region. In winter they go out to graze every day unless the weather does not permit it, and in the evening they return to the sheepfold where we give them good fodder harvested on our farm.
In the summer we move to the Pombie summer pasture located at the foot of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau , this is where we produce the famous summer cheese with its incomparable flavors thanks to an exclusive selection of herbs rich in flowers (licorice, thyme, etc.) .
Our cheeses are matured in our maturing cellar, where we take care of them every day by rubbing and turning them over for several months so that they gradually develop all their aromas.
We also make greuil, an excellent product that is very popular, very rich in protein and low in fat!!! What more could you ask for! You can enjoy it according to your tastes! Sweet and savory! To enhance with many recipes!
