An authentic farm in Aste-Béon

In the heart of the Ossau Valley, in Aste-Béon, the Pujalet Farm is a family farm where Patrick and Noémie raise their sheep in accordance with the pastoral traditions of the Béarn Pyrenees.

For much of the year, the herd grazes in the natural meadows around the farm before heading up to the mountains for the summer. This traditional farming method contributes to the rich aroma of the milk and the quality of the cheeses.

Farmhouse raw milk sheep's cheese

At the farm, the milk is transformed directly into raw milk farmstead sheep's cheese, using traditional methods. The cheeses are salted by hand and then aged for several months to develop a taste typical of the Béarn region.

A local production appreciated by cheese lovers from the Pyrenees and authentic products from the Ossau Valley.

The farm also offers other local specialties :

The products are available for direct sale at the farm as well as at some local markets, notably in Laruns, in the heart of the Ossau Valley.
