About

  • English
    • Maison Théas is a family farm located in a small village in the Hautes-Pyrénées (Gardères), in the heart of the region between Tarbes, Pau, and the enclaves of the Hautes-Pyrénées. For four generations, the family has perpetuated authentic know-how around foie gras from the Southwest, respecting the traditions of raising and force-feeding the animals.

In this preserved environment, the farm fits fully into the gastronomic identity of the Southwest, by promoting an emblematic product: farm-raised foie gras.

      A KNOW-HOW PASSED DOWN FOR 4 GENERATIONS

Tradition, high standards and a passion for the land

Four generations of Maison Théas bear witness to a constant commitment to quality farm production. Here, passion for the craft, a dedication to quality work, and a deep connection to the terroir of the Hautes-Pyrénées guide every stage of production.

The farm emphasizes a handcrafted approach, where mastery of technique and respect for the traditions of the Southwest remain essential.

A PRODUCTION CONTROLLED FROM START TO FINISH

From farm-grown corn to farm-raised foie gras

The originality of Maison Théas lies in its complete control of the production chain. The ducks are selected in the Southwest, raised with care, then force-fed exclusively with corn grown on the farm.

This corn grows on a unique land: the Enclaves of the Hautes-Pyrénées, recognized for the richness of their black, non-irrigated soil, and their natural capacity for regeneration.

This short supply chain guarantees total traceability and consistent product quality.

      A FARM COMMITTED TO QUALITY

The excellence of foie gras rather than the quantity

Maison Théas has made a conscious choice to prioritize quality over quantity. Each product is made from farm-raised ducks, guaranteeing an authentic, flavorful foie gras from the Southwest, true to tradition.

This requirement allows us to offer a farm range recognized for its consistency and taste.

      DIRECT SALES AT THE FARM

A direct link with the producers

The farm also offers direct sales, allowing visitors and customers to meet the producers. It's an opportunity to discover the products, discuss farming methods, and leave with local specialties.

Located between Tarbes, Pau and the Hautes-Pyrénées, Maison Théas welcomes customers in search of authenticity and farm products from the Southwest.
