  The Laguilhon house is renowned for its quality products and respect for traditions. Located in Bénéjacq between Pau and Tarbes, they have developed their range of exceptional foie gras with passion. Culinary treasure of the south-west, it is the flagship product of this delicatessen which makes it a point of honor to carefully select suppliers with the official IGP quality label, duck foie gras from the south-west. They are proud to be medalists every year since 1999 at the general agricultural competition for their assortment of foie gras. Whole in a verrine, whole semi-cooked or in blocks, the duck is sublimated to reveal gourmet flavors. Fine, delicate, melting, you can only fall for this emblematic product of Béarn. No less than 3 generations defend the gastronomy of the south-west in their delicatessen in Bénéjacq. Make a stop, it's to die for.

Increasingly poor quality products. I had 2 bad experiences with Laguilhon: 2 jars of duck liver terrine turned black after a while while the expiry date is 09/2024. Recently I was served a fresh foie gras almost at the expiry date. I had to throw it away. As for the service and reception: non-existent. I do not recommend.

Very nice store with preserves, regional wines and freshly cut ducks. Possibility of composing gift boxes. Very nice home
